  • Apple has officially confirmed that person-to-person Apple Pay will not arrive with iOS 11.0, but will instead be added in an update to iOS 11 scheduled for later this year.

What devices will iOS 11 run on?

The minimum hardware requirements for running iOS 11 are the iPhone 5s, iPad mini 2, iPad Air, iPad Pro, and sixth-generation iPod touch.

September 19, 2017 -- iOS 11 was released today, and the book has been updated to version 1.1 to reflect the changes that occurred since its initial publication. We expect to see further changes in iOS 11, however, and we'll update the book accordingly when the time comes.
