This folder contains three new floating tool bars for use in Nisus Writer. There are two versions: one contains JUST the three new toolbars; the other contains the three new ones PLUS the original nine tool bars. You can decide which you'd like to install. After choosing a tool bar, copy it to your Nisus Writer Tools folder, which is in your Nisus Writer folder. You might want to move your existing toolbar somewhere else so that it does not get deleted in the process (just in case!).

These new tool bars activate macro commands, rather than "regular" menu commands. This means that in order for the tool bar to show up correctly (to say nothing of functioning!) the appropriate macro file must be loaded. For your convenience, I have grouped all the macros needed by all three tool bars—plus a number of others—into the omnibus Nisus Macros w/Merge file. If you prefer, you can load just the Merge Macros or just Joe's Internet Macros to get access to the Merge Macros tool bar and Internet Macros tool bar, respectively—or get access to both (but not the Merge macros) in the Nisus Macros file. (For the curious: yes, these are identical to the files in the Macros folder on the main level of this CD!)

IMPORTANT: The macro file must be loaded before the tool bar is displayed! If you have your tool bar active at startup, it might look goofy because the macro file hasn't loaded yet. After your macros are loaded, turn off the tool bar then turn it back on again. The diagram that follows shows you what buttons activate which macros.
